New
study shows medical devices lead the way in Florida's growing life
sciences industry.
 A recently
completed study by the University of South Florida's Center for Economic
Development Research documents that the medical device industry leads
Florida's life science industry. While commonly known that Florida
has the second largest number of FDA registered medical device
manufacturing facilities, this study shows the significant economic
contribution of the industry to the state's economy and the sustained
growth of medical device manufacturing in the state.
